This is an Ashton Drake Gene Marshall USO fashion doll. The doll was designed by Mel Odom and the costume was designed by Doug James. It was released in 1999.
This is Gene’s studio’s version of a dress uniform representative of all branches of the military circa 1944. The tailored jacket is a dark green wool and has brass buttons down the front and on the breast pockets and epaulets. Th jacket, belt and skirt are lined with green taffeta. There is a khaki cotton long-sleeved with a matching necktie. The accessories include earrings, a “leather” strap purse, a wool garrison cap, glove,hose, and ‘leather’ lace up boots.
The doll and accessories are in pristine condition. The accessory is the bag The doll box is in excellent condition. Will be shipped in a doll box but not original to this doll.
Non smoking home and quick shipping. Has never been used but stored way for all of these years. No stand included.
